How To Rank a Website on Google in 9 Simple Steps

In this article, I will describe how to rank a website on Google using nine ninja tips that are very simple but powerful. It is important to clarify that some sites are ranked faster than others because of the following factors:

  • Domain age
  • Content age
  • Trust flow
  • Frequency of content
  • Overall Volume of content
  • Content engagement

By the way, would take us a complete article to describe each of them, then we will develop the next nine steps of the purpose of this content.

Step 1: Meta Title

The meta title is an element used in the HTML language that provides information about our site in Google’s search results. It is important to include our keyword in this title and by the way, the keyword must also be included in our URL. This title must not contain more than 60 characters in length.

Step 2: Meta Description

The meta description is also part of the HTML language and will be displayed in Google results. You must also include the keyword and its length should not exceed 160 characters.

Step 3: Keyword in Content

The keyword  or keyword phrase must be contained at least once in the content of the article. It is necessary not to try to force the text to the keyword or to look for a certain density of this keyword. Use words related to the subject in question and the algorithm of Google will take them into account for the positioning of your page.

Step 4: ALT Tag Within an Image

They say that a picture says more than a thousand words. This image must be related to the content of the written text and must include the keyword in the part of its ALT attribute that is also part of the HTML language.

Google will know that it contains the image through the ALT attribute and this will help to better position our article.

Step 5: Internal Links

It is a link that goes from the article we are writing to another article or page within our site.

Step 6: External Links

It is a link that goes from our article that we are writing towards an expert site in the subject (it is not an affiliate link); For example to Wikipedia.

Step 7: Video Embedded

Search in youtube any video no more than 4 minutes to talk about your topic. This will help keep your visitors more time on your site and Google will better position your content.

Step 8: Comments

In your article, you will ask questions to motivate your readers to put comments on your site. This will create some discussion and Google will take those comments into account as you will know that your readers are interested in the topic you have written.

There is a free app that produces comments instantly. This tool is within the membership that is free as well and I will gladly guide you if you wish, by asking me through your comments at the bottom of this page.
